Central Lancashire

Welcome to Signs Express (Central Lancashire). The unit was opened in December 1996 by Alan Parkinson, and has since then continued to grow and expand, from working within the Preston area to now providing signage for the whole of Central Lancashire in areas such as Leyland and Chorley.

We now have a team of 19 members of staff working on the design, manufacture and installation of signage. All work is carried out 'in house' by our own highly skilled, experienced personnel. From the design department, who are fully conversant with industry standard guidelines such as the Wayfinding publication and the Disability Discrimination Act, to the manufacture of signs in our fully equipped workshop, using premium quality materials, & our installation teams, all of whom are fully CSCS qualified and work within current health and safety guidelines, we are able to meet any specification.

We are able to undertake all aspects of sign work and currently carry out work for a broad spectrum of clients from private sector companies, to large plc's and public sector organisations, particularly in the fields of health and education.

Our policy of continued investment in the latest technology in order to remain at the forefront of signage production, led to our move to new larger premises in October 2004. This has enabled us to increase our production capacity and incorporate additional facilities, including the ability to produce tactile and braille signs, and large format full colour digital printing.

We are pleased to announce that we were recently presented with a Special Award as part of the Signs Express awards presentation. We also received a highly commended Sign Excellence award for best vehicle graphics project, recognising our work for Heathcotes Outside Catering. Photographs can be seen on our portfolio.

We specialise in vehicle graphics, interior and exterior signage, banners, window graphics, exhibition and display graphics, labels and stickers and also DDA compliant health and safety signs.
