Signs Express (Peterborough) was contacted by Peterborough Showground to assist with the rebrand of their arena.
When the new arena exhibition hall had been built, signage had been erected however this was not in keeping with the image the Arena wished to portray. Signs Express (Peterborough) was called in to offer expert advice and signage solutions.
The first challenge was to provide signs for three elevations of the building. The Arena needed to be visible from both the motorway and a nearby slip road so it was essential the signage was both large and easy to read. After working on designs together with the client, Signs Express (Peterborough) supplied and fitted three flex-face signs, the largest they had embarked on so far.
The client also needed a solution for their front gate. This was required to be permanent, but with the option of adding graphics from sponsors. Keen to take on the challenge, the Peterborough sign makers came up with the solution of allocating a section of the sign to have a banner channel permanently fixed. This was divided into sections to allow for the fitting of temporary banners, offering a tidy short term solution.
The large scale rebrand also included directory and entrance signage which Signs Express (Peterborough) was delighted to provide.
Keith Dalton, Managing Director of Peterborough Arena commented: “Once again Signs Express (Peterborough) was able to use their expertise to take the design concept of our branding into a reality and come up with a sign solution that was perfect for our requirements. Once more it was completed within three weeks from order. I’m impressed again with the speed and quality of service that Signs Express can offer.”
