Signage plays a major role in branding, energising, organising and promoting schools. Working with a signs and graphics company who can offer the right level of expertise is vital.
So why choose Signs Express?
Cramlington Village Primary School
Cramlington Primary School launched a project to brighten the appearance of their school entrance with local artist Daniel Weatheritt who ran a number of art workshops with the school children. The finished artwork was printed on specialist wall vinyl and applied directly to the brick walls and onto optically clear vinyl for the windows.
Daniel had this to say about the project. “It was a pleasure to work with Signs Express for the printing and installation of my bespoke illustrated entrance design for Cramlington Village Primary School. My printing options were made very clear from the outset and the finished installation has great attention to detail with outstanding colour reproduction. The team worked hard to meet a tight deadline, for which I am grateful.”
Marden High School
Dot to dot artist Stephen Pritchard worked with us and Marden High School to refurbish their reception area. Marden High School wanted something a bit different that was both pleasing to the eye and useful. They requested something with a big visual effect on the outside which would allow them clear vision from the inside. We used contravision to fit the desired requirements and we were all pleased at the finished product.
Astley Community High School
Retox Digital approached us with a project to refurbish all of Astley Community High School’s signs. Working closely with Will Johnston from the design agency, we provided them with signs that worked within their budget. A range of interior and exterior signs were fitted.
As well as a fascia and post mounted signs we completed a range of directional and information signs that followed the same theme and design.
Ashington Learning Partnership
Post and wall mounted signs were fitted at five schools in Ashington, all members of the Ashington Learning Partnership. Displaying a common theme but with each school’s own badge and identity. This theme was carried through to the High School minibus which we completed with laminated digital prints.
Gateshead College were looking for a personalised wall covering, something completely bespoke. We custom printed their design and applied it in a corridor. The end result was a mural that brightens up an empty wall space and re-energises that area of the building. The possibilities and usage for such an application are endless. The only limitation is your imagination.
Cramlington Learning Village
Another project involving local artist Daniel Weatheritt at our local high school, Cramlington Learning Village, Daniel lead workshops to create art with some dedicated year 7 students. This project was pitched to Cramlington Town Council and it was agreed that the art would be re-produced and applied onto the walls of an underpass adjacent to the school. This urban art project covered the history and topography of Cramlington.
We used specialist vinyl to apply the laminated prints to the concrete walls, the overall effect was very eye catching receiving many positive comments from local residents.
