Leeds sign makers complete re-brand for Mears Group PLC

Knowing that other Signs Express franchises had helped Mears with numerous projects across the country, the Leeds sign makers were a clear and trusted choice to help with such a large re-brand. Rick Nurse, manager at Signs Express (Leeds) oversaw the project from start to finish, liaising with different contacts within Mears to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Commenting on the project, Rick explains: 'The biggest feat of this order was the logistics of moving around so many vehicles. We had 21 vehicles a day, for 3 days a week. This left just Thursday and Friday to prepare the vinyl for the next 60 vehicles, as well as continuing to meet expectations and deadlines of our other customers.' Mears Group PLC, who have been a customer of Signs Express for over 10 years, employ 16000 people across all regions of the UK. In partnership with their social housing clients, they maintain, repair and upgrade the homes of people in communities from remote rural villages to large inner-city estates. Delighted with how well the vehicle project was going, Mears Group PLC also asked Signs Express (Leeds) to take care of their new signage requirements over three different sites in Leeds. Andy Tindale, Partnering Manager at Mears PLC commented: 'We initially contacted Signs Express (Leeds) with the large requirement of rebranding over 230 vehicles due to our acquisition of Morissons Facilities Services. We spoke to the Leeds sign makers having heard about the previous work that had been carried out for Mears throughout the country. Rick and his team were able to provide all the visuals for the vehicles to show exactly how they would look, and worked closely with us to turn these vehicles around in a short timescale. The additional work for new signage on our three sites across Leeds was also completed on time, and to a very high standard. We look forward to working with Signs Express Leeds again in future.'
