Leveraging on Signs Express’ excellent reputation as a national network with brilliant customer service, the dedicated sign makers have been building a strong relationship with interior and exterior landscaper Urban Planters.
Established in 1965, the Urban Planters franchise has been designing, sourcing, installing and maintaining indoor and outdoor plants, as well as other plant-related products for five decades. As the fastest-growing, independent interior landscaper in the UK, Urban Planters has built a network of 30 branches across Britain. Similarly, Signs Express is also a national brand and has therefore been able to furnish several Urban Planters centres around the UK with matching vehicle graphics.
The relationship between the two companies is a relatively new one, but Signs Express Falkirk, Reading and Chester have already carried out numerous jobs for the company within the first month of working with them. The three Signs Express centres involved have created bespoke vehicle graphics for the Urban Planters brand, covering six vans within a matter of days across the country.
Feedback from Urban Planters concerning this experience has been wholly positive and Steve McMurray, owner of Signs Express (Falkirk), expressed that “We were delighted to work with another national franchise and we hope that our good relationship with them continues to strengthen and grow.”
Alan Page, the Franchise Director for Urban Planters said “Maintaining a brand standard across our franchise network is very important to us, and Signs Express enable us to achieve this, using their head office team for all our central design requirements and their network of branches for fitting the artwork to our vans locally.”
By instituting a central point of communication and invoicing between all of the centres and taking the time to fully understand Urban Planters’ needs, Signs Express distinguished themselves from the competition. Indeed, the main requirement from Urban Planters was to offer national coverage to all of their branches and Signs Express Falkirk, Reading and Chester are only the first centres to be required. This project appears to be just the beginning of a fruitful operation between Urban Planters and Signs Express.
