Spot Holding’s GT racing driver Will Goff called upon Signs Express (Norwich) to design, print and fit the sporting graphics to his Porsche GT3 racing car.
From a simple sketch provided by Will, the team at the Norwich signage centre drew up the full wrap design in accordance with the specifications of Wills racing team colours. The finished design incorporates the drivers’ details, company logo and the Signs Express logo.
Initially Will was looking to have the car sprayed with the teams’ colours. After a consultation with Signs Express Manager Ben, he found the benefits of using vinyl far out-weighed the more traditional spray-paint method. The vinyl not only decoratively covers the cars body work, but it also helps to protect against any stone chips, scratches and daily wear and tear. Another benefit of using the vinyl is that it can be easily removed and leaves no marks, returning the vehicle to its original state, completely unaffected by the graphics.
The team at Signs Express (Norwich) applied the sports cars graphics at their dedicated vehicle livery bay. This fantastic facility allows the sign makers to apply vehicle graphics to vehicles of all shapes and sizes in a climate controlled environment all year round.
Will is taking part in the 2010 GT Cup driving challenge. The races take place at 8 circuits across England, from Oulton Park in Cheshire to Brands Hatch in Kent and runs from April until October each year. Established in 2007, the event is aimed at drivers who are not paid to be motor racers but may own, or have hired a super car and want a competitive race experience.
Signs Express (Norwich) wish Will Goff every success throughout the GT Cup.
