The club will receive 10p in the pound of money spent by Cobblers fans and commercial partners at Signs Express between now and the end of the 2012-2013 season.
The promotion will be launched at the home match with Exeter City on Saturday October 13th. In keeping with Signs Express’s national coverage and expertise, Signs Express (Northampton) owner Mark Meadowcroft will be joined by his colleague from Signs Express (Exeter), Nick Baxter-Sibley and Signs Express Ltd Managing Director Craig Brown.
Mark Meadowcroft said: “We’re now in our fourth season as the Cobblers’ sign partner, and while results on the pitch haven’t been what we’d hoped for, it’s been great fun and the club have made sure it’s been good for business.”
“We’re now supporting the future of the club as well as the first team on matchdays. The club needs money to support everything from the training sessions my five year old daughter enjoys on Saturday mornings to the work done preparing 16, 17 and 18 year old lads for the challenges of a career in football on and off the pitch."
“It’s important to me that the Cobblers are trying not just to produce good footballers that can improve the team and, when the time is right, sold for a good transfer fee, but also grounded young people that a business like Signs Express would want to be associated with.”
“Our offer gives Cobblers fans and commercial partners the opportunity to sample Signs Express’s quality and service – and support the Academy coaches in developing the skills and expertise of everyone from five year olds through to players in the current Cobblers squad and Bradley Johnson, formerly a young hopeful at Northampton Town and now an established Premier League player."
