Signs Express (Falkirk) has donated £1000 to Age Scotland for the second successive year. The charity donation was a welcome boost to Age Scotland who tirelessly work to promote a better quality of life for older people in Scotland.
Age Scotland is a new charity combining Age Concern and Help the Aged in Scotland. Steve McMurray, Franchisee for Signs Express (Falkirk) made the Christmas donation to help offer support for the local community activities undertaken by the charity.
Steve said, "People in later life often need extra help and support to remain independent and have a good quality of life, especially in the winter months, so I have chosen to support Age Scotland again this year".
Commenting Joyce Sperber, Fundraising Manager for Age Scotland said, "We are delighted to accept your generous donation and thoroughly appreciate the support of Signs Express (Falkirk). This gift will make an important contribution to our work with older people in Scotland. We are reliant on the support of organisations such as yours to help us further our aims, which are to ensure that older people have their needs addressed, voices heard and choice and control over their lives".
