Leading Signs and Graphics Company Signs Express (Manchester) has become the preferred graphic suppliers for team vehicles and transport for the Great Britain Cycling team.
This means that ahead of the 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Apeldoorn, between 23-27 March, the team will have a fresh new look across support vehicles, bikes and even helmet graphics.
As preferred sign suppliers to the GB Team and Sky Pro Cycling, Manchester based Signs Express will provide the teams with a wide range of signs and graphics that range from vehicle graphics to more bespoke items such as helmet, shoe and suitcases stickers. Additionally the team will be supplied with internal office window graphics and race warm-up area signage for two Sky Pro team coaches.
Signs Express (Manchester) provided fresh new eye-catching vehicle graphics across all of the Great Britain cycling and British Cycling team vehicles; which cover road, track, BMX and mountain biking disciplines. As an important branding and promotional medium, the cyclists are set to receive extra support during training sessions and race meetings as a result of the clear graphics.
In total over 50 cars have received the Signs Express treatment and a further 9 vans were completed in time for upcoming competitions. Depicting the union jack, the flag graphics appear to be flowing across the rear of the vehicles. The team logo and sponsors logo also adorn the vehicles for a clear but dramatic look.
Printed in-house on Signs Express’ wide format JV33 digital printer onto clear avery cast vinyl, the partial wraps were applied in the production centres dedicated vehicle application bay, and each completed to the highest standards so they have a long lasting finish. A full set of graphics were also despatched to be fitted to an Alfa Romeo in Italy.
The Alfa Romeo estate cars are ideal as support vehicles and carry essential medical and training equipment on board. With full branding, they are unmistakable additions to the British cycling team.
