Signs Express Southampton are proud to craft signage commemorating 100 years since the Titanic’s maiden voyage.
On Tuesday the 10th of April, descendants of those who perished on the Titanic were present at Southampton Dockside to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the ill fated journey.
This tribute and special ceremony was attended by over 650 people and was held at the very place where the ship left port for the first and last time.
The adjacent road on the ocean cruise terminal was renamed White Star Way in honour of the company that operated the Titanic. The new sign was unveiled by The Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mary Fagan.
Associated British Ports commissioned Signs Express Southampton to create this special signage that is very similar to a typical road sign but also contains specially crafted logos and information marking this day in history.
