Established in 1995, Signs Express (Derby) recently celebrated its 20th anniversary much to the pride of the Director, Steve Jarvis. “It’s amazing to think that we have been in operation for over 20 years now. The time has flown and I am delighted that our longevity has been fuelled by a loyal customer base and our excellent reputation within the region.”
Steve is an active member of the Derby community and is a bondholder with Marketing Derbyshire and a member of the Chambers of Commerce. Alongside his dynamic team comprising Production Manager, Carl; Head of Print, Nadine; Sign Engineer, Paul and Sales/Marketing Executive (and All-rounder), Tom, Steve has been able to develop a profitable business using a wealth of experience and the highest quality products and services.
Such expertise has led to numerous prestigious projects over the years, including the latest assignment for the Security Company in charge of Nottingham University campus who commissioned livery for their fleet of 54 vehicles. Signs Express (Derby) has a firm relationship with Nottingham University, spanning almost 20 years, so this job has been one in a long line of work.
The centre furnished 39 vans with reflective chevrons, 10 electric vans were part wrapped with digitally printed graphics and 5 additional vans were outfitted with standard livery and police battenburg details. The centre’s vast knowledge enabled them to create the design work, produce the wraps and fit the signage, all of which took 3 months from start to completion.
The centre’s loyal customer base includes some high profile businesses including Toyota Manufacturing (UK), Bowmer & Kirkland, Daher Aerospace, Rolls Royce and Derby City & County Councils. An excellent networking ability and an adherence to high standards of quality has fortified Steve’s operation and has ensured that he could meet this milestone anniversary. “Whether our client is looking for a single sign or vehicle graphics for a fleet of vans, we will always go that extra mile and give a premium service to everyone,” Steve asserted.
