Signs Express (Warwick) are celebrating this week after winning Best Vehicle Graphics Project at the Sign Excellence Awards held during this year’s Signs Express Convention.
Andy Slater owner of Signs Express (Warwick) scooped first place in the Best Vehicle Graphics category for their outstanding work with Dobson White Partnership, a local events company, on behalf of their client Nissan. Signs Express (Warwick) were commissioned to print and apply a full colour vehicle wrap to a purpose built white trailer, promoting Nissan’s new GTR sports car. The design incorporated stunning photographic images of the new car, and the trailer was used to transport the vehicle on its promotional tour around Europe - reaching an audience of over 8000. The team at Signs Express (Warwick) had to carry out this work in the strictest of confidence; no-one could risk the motor press getting a sneak peak of the new vehicle.
Commenting on the win Andy said; ‘I’m absolutely delighted. We worked very hard on this project, which took several days to complete. This award is not just about me but represents all of the effort put in by the team. It was exciting to be involved in the launch of Nissan’s new GTR supercar.’
The award was presented to Andy by Gavin Bromley, Technical Support Manager at the Signs Express Head Office.
The prestigious awards ceremony is a part of the Signs Express bi-annual convention, which this year marked the 20th anniversary for the group. Held at De Vere Dunston Hall, Norwich, the convention weekend consists of seminars and a supplier’s forum, giving the franchisees from the UK and Ireland a perfect opportunity to catch up with key suppliers, learn about new business initiatives and to have a first look at new products to hit the market.
