Grant Zehetmayr, franchisee at Signs Express Cardiff will embark on a mamouth challenge on 17th September when he scales the side of Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of local charity Velindre.
Grant said, "The Valindre cancer centre in Cardiff is such a vital organisation at the forefront of cancer care in Wales and my family and I have been fundraising for many months for this worthwhile charity. We’ve raised around £7,500 so far through a number of local events including a fundraising dinner with raffle and charity auction with clients and local business and a murder mystery evening with friends and family. We hope to raise a futher £3500 in this latest challenge - which I am sure will be the hardest yet!"
Donations are gratefully received and Grant's just giving page can be found by clicking here

"My wife and I will be joining several friends in the epic challenge which will see us climb 19,340ft (almost 6000m). We have never done anything like this before so I am sure it will be an exciting but thoroughly fufiling adventure."
Grant and his team will be following the footsteps of the Welsh Rugby Club who are also undertaking the same climb in aid of Velindre.
