Signs Express (Birmingham South West) were approached by Pete Austin of Ethos Audio, a live act sound support company to bring some life to their tour support trailer. Pete had been impressed with the vehicle graphics that we had done previously on double-decker tour support coaches for his previous employer Total Audio Solutions, so chose Signs Express Birmingham South West to promote his own brand.
As the trailer carries valuable equipment whilst on tour, Ethos did not want to overly advertise the fact but still wanted clearly identify their presence to existing and potential customers in the music world. We struck on the idea of creating a solar bust in Photoshop fading out to one of their branded colours in the hope that it would draw the eye into the centre and in turn to the Ethos logo that we also gave a 3D effect to in Photoshop to help it lift off the flat panels. We wrapped both sides of the truck and the nose cone to help the design flow around the trailer.
With a tight deadline we managed to complete the graphics just in time for Ethos Audios mammoth journey providing sound support to The Cranberries on their recent Europe wide tour.
