Signs Express (Farnborough) has just completed external signage and a ceremonial plaque for the Rail Accidents Investigation Branch (RAIB), who have recently relocated their southern office from Woking to Farnborough. Signs Express (Farnborough) successfully bid for the manufacture and fitting of bespoke exterior signs and a ceremonial plaque manufactured to RAIB specification. The new offices were officially opened on the 8th November by Rt. Hon. Patrick Mcloughlin, MP, Secretary of State Transport who unveiled the striking new signage, using Signs Express’ (Farnborough) very own custom made ceremonial curtains.
The focus of the RAIB is to independently investigate UK railway accidents in order to improve safety across the rail network. By identifying the causes of accidents within the UK the RAIB are able to offer support and advice in order to try and prevent further incidents from occurring. They are not a law enforcing organisation and all of their investigations are carried out independently in order to ensure that the best possible safety measures can be put in place for the future.
Speaking after the opening Tim Burt, centre owner, said : “Signs Express (Farnborough) were delighted to help the RAIB to promote the good work that it undertakes. Offering clients a complete service, we were delighted to be chosen by the RAIB to provide their signage. Our local facility allows us to use our expertise to provide a range of signage for the wider needs of the business community.”
