Signs Express (Manchester) reaches award finals

Geoff and Lee Eaton, centre owners at Signs Express (Manchester) reached the finals of the Franchisee of the Year category as a result of their performance year after year and their ability to create excellent customer relationships through their high level of service and quality products. Up against two other successful franchisees, Geoff and Lee faced the likes of Signs Express (N. & N.E. Lincs) and Signs Express (Falkirk), with Ken Bevis at Signs Express (N. & N.E. Lincs) named the winner after much deliberation between judges.

The awards ceremony was the final event to take place at this year’s Signs Express convention which marked the 20th anniversary for the group. The elegant awards ceremony gave all Signs Express centres the opportunity to be judged as individual franchises for what they have accomplished over their own years of trading and to put forward their work for the best sign and vehicle categories. Competition was tough with a number of worthy winners in the mix but the final decision rested with the Signs Express directors and a selection of independent judges.

Based on Trafford Park, Signs Express (Manchester) has been part of the Signs Express network for over 10 years. Joint owner Lee commented on the award announcement: “We were delighted to be recognised as a finalist in the Franchisee of the Year category. It’s an excellent achievement not just for myself and Geoff but also for the team as a whole. We’ve worked hard to up our game and adjust for the current economic downturn and we’re pleased that the effort is paying off.

Signs Express managing director Craig Brown said: “Geoff & Lee Eaton are a real credit to the network through their exceptional performance. Over the years they have built up and enviable client base as a result of their excellent customer service so it’s great to see them recognised for their achievements.”

Taking place every two years, the convention sees a number of members of the group from all over the UK and Ireland visit the outskirts of Norwich at the De Vere Dunston Hall hotel, and this year was no exception. Spread over the course of two days, franchisees were able to hear the latest in developments across the network as well as new business opportunities available to increase turnover and enhance their customer base.

As part of the UK and Ireland’s leading signs and graphics company, Signs Express (Manchester) provides a complete design, manufacture and installation service for all forms of signage including interior/exterior signs, vehicle graphics, exhibition and display products, window graphics and health and safety signage for businesses in Manchester and surrounding areas.
