Set in the serene surroundings of The Botanic Gardens you would struggle to realise you were near to Glasgow’s west end, which is why Encore Hospitality Services called on Signs Express (Glasgow) to help its “Café at the Botanics” catering unit blend into the surroundings.
Encore Hospitality Services called on Signs Express to deliver a full wrap of its catering unit. Using ultra conformable vinyl film, the wrap enables the café to ecologically fit in with its surroundings whilst also providing a valuable opportunity to add subtle promotional messages.
The Botanic Gardens is known internationally for its impressive glass houses and extensive tropical and temperate plant collections from around the world.
Offering a wide range of quality Scottish food, the café prides itself on its unique menu which includes items such as Venison Burgers, Stovies and Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. It was looking for branding which complemented their quality food whilst also blending in with the environment of The Botanic Gardens and Signs Express came up with the perfect solution.
Signs Express (Glasgow) managing director Graham Casey said, “The Botanic Gardens are a lovely environment and the café is a welcome addition that is proving very popular with visitors to the gardens. We used high quality 3M IJ180 wrapping film which was digitally printed with the design and then applied to the catering unit. Passers by were very complementary as the finishing touches of the wrap were being applied and there have been many positive comments since. We are very used to wrapping cars and vans but something of this size is a first for us!”
Signs Express (Glasgow) works with many businesses in Glasgow and the surrounding areas and has worked on high profile projects such as illuminated signage for Central Car Auctions, signage for Glasgow Caledonian University and is the main supplier for signs and graphics for leading clothing retailer Slaters to name just a few.
