A transformation has taken place at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and signage experts Signs Express (Warwick) were waiting in the wings to provide the finishing touches inside the historic theatre.
Birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon is home to The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), a theatre group set up in to perform and celebrate the works of England’s greatest playwright. Built in 1932, the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre is the RSC’s main performance space in Stratford and has been undergoing a £112.8million refurbishment since 2007.
Taking their cue, the professional team at Signs Express (Warwick) printed and installed all frosted window graphics to glass spaces throughout the re-developed theatre. All work was carried out in an extremely short turn-around time in preparation for a visit from the BBC, reporting on the official re-opening of the theatre.
Signs Express centre owner Andy Slater said: ‘It was a pleasure to work with the RSC at this iconic theatre. The building works are fantastic and we are delighted to have been involved in some way. ’
