For the third year running, Signs Express (Lancaster) has shown their support to cycling team HerbaLife Wheelbase by providing sponsorship graphics for the 2011 cycles, team vehicles and promotional materials.
The 2011 season launch party was held at the stunning Ashton Memorial in the grounds of Williamson’s Park overlooking Lancaster and the Lakeland fells below. The commentator for the launch was Mike Smith from Eurosport who gave great entertainment to the audience for the afternoon.
Team HerbaLife Wheelbase bring together the best of both experienced and new road racing talent from the north west of England. Now in its third year, director’s Geoff Newcombe and Neil Taylor have expanded the team, with the extra riders to help in the premier calendar races.
The eighteen strong cycle team includes young cyclist Jack Sadler who has already had sixty career wins to date. His first win of 2011 was at Darley Moor and is a great prospect for the rest of the season. One of the newest members of the team is Lynn Hamel who is currently the only lady in this successful team. Lynn is the 2010 National Hill Climb Champion and holder of the 2008 National BBAR.
