Helping to promote a mammoth running challenge from Lands End to John O’ Groats, Signs Express (Peterborough) were more than happy to assist with promotional vehicle graphics.
Three soldiers will be running from Lands End to John O’ Groats in aid of three charities - the Help for Heroes campaign, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and The Rifles Regimental Trust and hope to raise over £100,000 through sponsorship and donations for wounded soldiers and bereaved families.
With a donated support vehicle from the military sales department of Marshall Land Rover, they will be leaving on 10th June for the 851 mile run which they are estimating will take 17 days. This enormous challenge will see them running a double marathon every day!
Named the Undentable run, the team aims to reach the finishing line on June 26 – Armed Forces day and the run will take them across towns and cities throughout the UK with evening receptions at venues including Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham and the poignant streets of Wootton Bassett.
Richard Glenn, UK Military Sales Manager for Marshalls said, “When we were approached by these chaps we were moved by the grandeur of this challenge, and for such a worth while cause, I felt it was our time to step up to the mark and assist in anyway possible. We are proud to support this team with the loan of a dedicated chase vehicle and wish them every success.”
Anne Htich said, “Marshall’s are a regular customer of ours and when they asked for assistance with the vehicle graphics for the campaign we were delighted to assist on such a worth while challenge. Its an enormous task they are undertaking and I hope they get lots of support and donations along the way. From all at Signs Express (Peterborough) we wish them the best of luck.”
