Signs Express (Lincoln) was announced as the 2013 winner of the Best Vehicle Graphics Award and were finalists in two other categories at the Signs Express Awards Ceremony held Friday 8th November at the Radisson Blu hotel in Derby. With more than 70 Signs Express centres across the UK and Ireland, being nominated in so many categories is a real accolade to their abilities.

The Award for Best Vehicle Graphics was presented in recognition of the work Signs Express (Lincoln) has completed for P.C. Coaches. They offered a complete all around service to fulfil their client's needs, from initial brief and photography through to production and fitting. The brief was to create eye-catching graphics incorporating images of Lincoln Cathedral and the Red Arrows and P.C. Coaches were thrilled with the results. With no existing photography available for Signs Express (Lincoln) to use, they took to the Cathedral with camera in hand and snapped their own! They then used their photo editing skills to incorporate the iconic Red Arrows in to the graphics design. The finished result is stunning and P.C. Coaches have received some very positive feedback. Because of all of the 'thinking outside of the box' for their client P.C. Coaches, and the extent they went to in order to produce the highest possible standard of work, Signs Express (Lincoln) were also nominated in the Innovation Award for the same project, which recognises centres who have pulled out all the stops in order to guarantee customer satisfaction. Richard Howes, Signs Express (Lincoln) owner told us: 'P.C. Coaches have been a long standing client and it's a real joy to see their striking graphics out on the roads. They are a real talking point for passengers and passers-by and I am very proud to have been involved. I am also delighted to receive this national recognition, up against some fantastic projects across the country.' Signs Express (Lincoln) were also finalists in the Exterior Sign project for work completed for local company, Elixir Bathrooms, who wanted new signage to better reflect the quality and size of their showroom. The company's exterior was transformed with a new logo, false window with high resolution graphics and extensively panelled with gloss black aluminium composite. The client was so pleased with the final result due to increased sales they also commissioned Signs Express (Lincoln) to apply the same magic to their van. Craig Brown, Managing Director at Signs Express commented: 'Being nominated for three separate awards and winning one is a huge achievement for Signs Express (Lincoln). With more than 70 centres to compete against, being short-listed in three categories is something that Signs Express (Lincoln) should be very proud of.'
