Production & Installation Team Leader

We are currently looking for someone to join our Production/Installation Team at our Centre in Southampton.

Experience of a similar role in the Signage Industry  is required and duties will include:

• • Receiving of all Production job bags from the Sales team, breaking down each job for workflow-artwork/production/install elements
  • Overall management of workloads of production/installation
  • Oversee the morning production meetings
  • Look to set/establish departmental KPI’s, quality control, monitor of NCR’S root cause and toolbox talks to deliver continuous improvement
  • Empower team to own production space and own all materials and storage
  • Lending a hand when required with installation, will include installation of hard signage such as trays, post and panel, acrylic signs etc. Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles and window graphics
  • Supervision on site when required

   

  Ideal applicant will need:

  • Must be a good team player, a ‘good fit’ for the existing team is essential
  • Must have excellent communication and customer facing skills
  • CSCA/PASMA/IPAF would be an advantage although not essential
  • Must understand the importance of H&S processes
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work and compliance is essential
  • Experience in the Signage Industry

 

This is a permanent position and would suit someone with a good degree of experience who would be able to handle the varied nature of the role and be a good ambassador for the business with both customers and supplies alike.

• Job location: Southampton City Centre
• Driving licence: Essential – do not apply unless you have a current licence
• Salary: £28-£30,000 pa – depending on experience
