Experienced Sign Maker / Installer vacancy in Bournemouth


Signs Express (Bournemouth & Poole) are looking for an experienced Sign Maker / Installer to join their busy team based in Christchurch, covering Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding areas.

What you will do

We offer a wide range of graphic products from glass manifestations, digital wall coverings, vehicle graphics to light boxes and everything in between. In this role, you will be required to work to a high standard and to exact deadlines across a varied client base. We therefore require a skilled Sign Maker / Installer who has experience in installing all types of signs, vinyl application and graphics.

What we are looking for

Candidates will be fully trained in sign installation having spent a minimum of 2 years covering a full range of skills and experience such as:

  • The ability to interpret briefs accurately and a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate effectively across a small team
  • Be proficient in the application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles
  • IPAF and PASMA certicates (Desirable)
  • Experience of safe working at heights
  • Safe manual handling of materials, fixtures & fittings
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices
  • Contentious approach to handling completed works
  • Driving licence essential
  • Experience of applying digital wallpaper would be an advantage

Your working hours

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic,a great team player, well organised and have an understanding of the importance of health and safety. This is a full-time position working normal office hours but will need to be flexible to work outside of these hours when required.
