Lincoln
Welcome to Signs Express (Lincoln). The centre opened in 1996. Richard Howes took over the franchise in July 2003 after working at the centre for the previous three years.
We are pleased to announce that we were recently presented with a highly commended Sign Excellence award for best vehicle graphics for our work to provide a piece of tail art to commemorate RAF Waddington’s 90th Anniversary.
In November 2003, we were also awarded a Sign Excellence award for interior signs, at the Signs Express annual convention. This was in recognition for a series of 16 exhibition style bannerstands, which where produced for Yarborough School of Lincoln.
We specialise in vehicle graphics, interior and exterior signage, banners, window graphics, exhibition and display graphics, labels and stickers and also DDA compliant health and safety signage.
In June 2004, we invested in a new wide format solvent printer, which has the capability to print at 1440 dpi on a wide variety of interior and exterior materials. Staying abreast of new developments in technology we invested in an even wider printer in September 2007, increasing our work capacity, while providing our customers with the high levels of service which they have come to expect.
We cover areas in and around Lincoln such as Gainsborough, Louth and Retford and work with a variety of national and local companies including:-
City of Lincoln Council, The Lindum Group, Translinc, Simons, Jackson Building Centres, PC Coaches, JSP Solicitors
As a keen motorcyclist, Richard has taken up racing in the Hottrax Junior Tag Endurance Championship this year along with racing partner Lloyd Magruder under the team name of Signs Express Racing. To find out more and track Richard's progress visit the Signs Express Racing website
