Client Overview
Netomnia / BRSK are making a big impact in the UK’s telecoms sector. Their mission is ambitious - to deliver ultra-fast full-fibre broadband to towns and cities nationwide. Supporting that mission is a hardworking fleet of more than 150 vans, from Mercedes-Benz Citan to Ford Transit Custom and Renault Trafic. These vehicles aren’t just a way to get engineers from job to job; they’re powerful mobile adverts for the brand, turning heads wherever they go.

Client Needs
With such a large fleet covering the country every day, minor knocks and scrapes are inevitable. They needed a repair approach that was quick to carry out, cost-effective to run across the whole fleet, and able to deliver a finish that matched the original livery perfectly, so every vehicle looked as good as new and stayed on the road serving customers.

Project Overview
A full rewrap can look impressive, but it’s not always the most practical choice. The client wanted a professional finish without the waste of time, materials or money. The answer had to be faster, more efficient, and deliver the same premium appearance without compromise.

Our Solution
At Signs Express Gloucester & Cheltenham, we redesigned the fleet graphics from the ground up. Instead of large, continuous wraps, we created a modular livery system made up of individual pre-cut sections. If one part of the design was damaged, only that section would be replaced - no need to redo the whole side.
The repair process could take place on-site, often in just a couple of hours, with many vans back on the road the same day. Every replacement was colour-matched precisely to the brand palette, aligned to the millimetre, and produced using high-performance vinyls built to withstand the demands of a busy, nationwide fleet.

Execution
We began by completely redesigning the graphics to work as a modular system. Next, we created exact template kits for every van model in the fleet, cut each section using precision plotting equipment, and kept replacement panels in stock for fast turnaround. Our fitting team carried out repairs on-site, while our quality control team ensured each fix was seamless.

Challenges
The biggest challenge was ensuring the modular repair system integrated seamlessly into Netomnia / BRSK’s existing livery without affecting its strong visual impact. This meant:
- Matching colours with meticulous accuracy to make each repair completely unnoticeable.
- Maintaining brand consistency across a large, varied fleet of different van models.
- Using high-precision cutting and consistent manufacturing so every section aligns perfectly, even after months of wear and exposure.

Project Highlights
Since adopting the modular system, repair times have been cut from days to hours. Costs have been significantly reduced, as only the affected area is replaced. With less downtime, engineers spend more time with customers, helping to deliver broadband connections faster. And across the UK, the fleet continues to present a professional image, no matter how many miles it covers.
