Signs Express Southampton is proud to announce its outstanding success at the recent Signs Express 2025 Convention & Awards, held on January 24^th at the stunning De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading, where the team secured three fantastic and well-earned awards including: the Sustainability Award, Employee of the Year, and the much-coveted Network Champion Award.

The annual Signs Express Convention brings together centres from across the UK and Ireland, along with over 20 key suppliers and industry partners to celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership within the signage industry. The event recognises the exceptional contributions of franchisees, employees and teams who go above and beyond to uphold the brand’s commitment to quality, customer service and industry advancements.

Kicking off the evening on a high note, Signs Express Southampton proudly claimed their first award of the night - the Sustainability Award. In recognition of their commitment to environmental responsibility, this achievement was driven by their outstanding project at the National Oceanography Centre, showcasing their dedication to reducing their carbon footprint, implementing eco-friendly practices and championing sustainable signage solutions.

The Employee of the Year award was proudly presented to Mark Wheeler, Production & Installation Manager, in recognition of his exceptional dedication, professionalism and invaluable contributions to the business over the years. Mark’s hard work and passion have been instrumental in delivering outstanding service to customers and driving the success of Signs Express Southampton. Mark’s skills and expertise were particularly significant in helping secure a Gold Award at the 2024 UK Graphic Awards, further highlighting his commitment to excellence!

Last, but definitely not least, it was incredible to see Centre Manager José Ferreira honoured with the Network Champion Award at the Signs Express Awards, recognising his outstanding personal contribution to both the business and the wider Signs Express network. His dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to support fellow centres has made a lasting impact, strengthened collaboration and driven success across the brand. This well-deserved achievement is a testament to José’s passion and commitment to the industry and we couldn’t be prouder of his special recognition.
