As part of a national roll-out of the World’s oldest and largest youth community charity, Signs Express (Birmingham South West) have recently completed signage projects at seven Worcestershire based YMCA sites.
The latest look for YMCA encompasses their emphasis on community and youth and has been constructed using a triangular grid to symbolise the values of body, mind and spirit; the founding principles of YMCA. Each YMCA in England and Wales is a self-governing, individual charity which affiliates to the national charity.
Signs Express (Birmingham South West) Managing Director Joe Smith explained, “It’s been a pleasure to work with our local YMCA community hubs. Each site required individual solutions to fit the environment and premises whilst maintaining the continuity of the national branding.”
A range of signage solutions were provided at the sites including individual built up letters, branded aluminium sign trays, panel and post signage, wall mounted plaques, fence mounted signage, window graphics and bespoke shaped notice boards. Charlotte Stevenson of the YMCA said, “We are extremely pleased with the overall service we have received from Signs Express. We could not fault the work that they have done from the design, flexibility and the overall quality of the project from start to finish. They have always been available to answer any queries we have had, and we couldn’t recommend them enough.”
The locations form part of YMCA Worcestershire and are often community centre hubs at the heart of the area they serve, run in conjunction with their local authority. YMCA offers safe supported accommodation and a range of education, training, placement and apprenticeship schemes. Find out more about Signs Express (Birmingham South West) here.
