Louise Alford from Signs Express (Lincoln) returns from competing in the FIM Women's Trial World Championship

Exciting times this week as our Designer Louise Alford has just returned from consecutive weekends competing in Italy and France, for the final rounds of the FIM Women's Trial World Championship. At just 18 years old and in her first year at world level, Louise has achieved a ranking of 20th in the world. The final day in France saw Louise competing in the Women’s Trial des Nations. With 11 countries putting in their teams of 3 riders, and with Great Britain already having a very strong women's team who went on to win the event, Louise rode with Jess Brown and Chloe Richardson in a second team. Though not officially recognised because they were not an appointed national team, they rode as an FIM support team and beat 8 other countries and finished in an unofficial fourth place. A fantastic result. Well done Louise! Photos courtesy of www.trialscentral.com.
