Signs Express Dublin & Mullingar have worked closely with Longford Leisure Centre over a number of years, providing a wide range of bespoke signage solutions to support the facility as it continues to develop and evolve.
From bold exterior branding that strengthens the centre's presence to motivational graphics that encourage members throughout their workout, each element has been carefully designed to enhance the visitor experience while reflecting the centre's commitment to health, fitness and community.
As one of the area's leading leisure destinations, Longford Leisure Centre required signage that would do more than simply identify spaces.
The objective was to create a welcoming environment, improve navigation throughout the building and introduce bold visual features that would inspire members while reinforcing the centre's modern identity.
Over time, this has included a variety of internal and external signage projects, all delivered to complement the existing building and support the centre's ongoing investment in its facilities.
Working alongside the Longford Leisure Centre team, Signs Express Dublin & Mullingar have produced and installed a diverse range of signage throughout the site.
Exterior Branding
Visitors are welcomed by a striking built-up letter fascia displaying Longford Sports & Leisure Centre, creating a professional first impression and ensuring the building is easily recognisable.
To further showcase everything available on site, large raised white facility icons have been installed across the exterior. Featuring symbols representing the gym, swimming pool, football pitches and indoor courts, these contemporary icons provide an eye-catching way of highlighting the centre's extensive facilities. Positioned beneath existing architectural uplighting, they become even more impactful during the evening, helping the building remain visible after dark.
Gym Graphics
Inside the fitness suite, motivational wall graphics bring colour, energy and personality to the training environment.
Inspirational messages including "The pain you feel today is the strength you gain tomorrow" and "Stronger than yesterday" have been positioned strategically throughout the gym, encouraging members throughout every workout. The latter sits directly beneath the HYROX training clock, ensuring members see a motivational reminder each time they check their time or progress.
Dedicated HYROX branding has also been introduced through large raised white lettering displaying HYROX READY, creating a bold focal point within the specialist training area while contrasting against the dark feature wall.
Alongside the typography, colourful fitness-themed graphics depicting workout activities add movement and energy to the surrounding walls, helping create a motivating atmosphere for members.
Wayfinding
Consistent raised lettering has also been installed throughout the building to clearly identify key areas such as The Gym and The Studio, making navigation straightforward for both new and existing visitors.
Café Signage
Additional signage within the café area helps complete the customer journey, providing a welcoming space for visitors to relax after swimming lessons, gym sessions or sporting activities while maintaining a consistent visual identity throughout the centre.
The Result
The combination of exterior branding, internal wayfinding and motivational graphics has helped create a more engaging and professional environment throughout Longford Leisure Centre.
Every sign contributes to the overall visitor experience, from attracting attention outside the building to inspiring members during their workout and helping people confidently navigate the facility.
