Playing with Fire

The brief: For this project we were tasked with printing and installing a graphic wrap on a 35x8ft British fire engine which was to be used in Leicester Square, London for the UK premier of John Cena’s new film ‘Playing with Fire’. The project: As with any project we undertake we began the process by undertaking a detailed survey, allowing us to scope the project and understand any challenges which we may face. This step is important to ensure we understand the clients brief and allows us to consult and collaborate with them. In three days a team of just two installers worked on the fire engine in our designated vehicle bay at our centre in Basildon. The vehicle was individually shutter wrapped in collaboration with Premier Comms and Hot Hire. Due to the nature of this type of wrap the team had to work extremely precisely to ensure each piece was fitted correctly. The challenges: The sheer size of a fire engine will always pose a few challenges including fitting it in the vehicle bay or simply time management. The time needed to complete any project is always carefully calculated before any manual work can begin, that way, we are always able to deliver the highest standard. Our team are used to working to a tight deadline and thrive on finding solutions to ensure the project is professionally completed. We have years of combined experience working on all sorts of vehicles, big and small. We are very proud of the 5* reputation we have been given by our customers. The outcome: We are happy to say this project was delivered on time with an outstanding finish. The reception to the fire engine was overwhelmingly positive from both the client as well as from the audience of thousands who turned up to the premier.
