IT company calls in the experts

As one of the largest information technology and business process services firms in the world, it was important for CGI that the rebrand was well executed to the highest standard, with as little disruption as possible. The Twickenham sign makers were contacted by Yellowdot Design who knew they would be the right team for the job. Signs Express Twickenham helped with the rebrand across numerous sites: three in Wales and one each in London, Reading and Leatherhead. A site in Manchester was also completed with the help of the Signs Express Manchester branch. A vast range of innovative signage was provided such as brightening up the meeting rooms and common areas with vinyl 'wallpaper' prints and revamping a number of reception desks, thus avoiding the need to replace them. In addition to this, they supplied and installed acrylic prints on stand-off locators, PVC Foam prints with pixfix fittings (for easy panel updates in the future), flat-cut acrylic letters, frosted vinyl graphics and optically clear window graphics. The majority of the preparation and installation work was completed outside of office hours on evenings and weekends to avoid disruption as much as possible. The Twickenham sign makers arranged for the decorating work prior to fitting the 'wallpaper' graphics, including painting complimenting colours on other walls within the meeting rooms. In total, Signs Express Twickenham created and installed approximately 500 square metres of vinyl wallpaper in CGI's meeting rooms and customer facing areas throughout their UK offices. The team also supplied around a dozen large acrylic prints and over 80 foamex prints. No small job! The results are striking and the rebrand has been extremely successful, ensuring staff have a fantastic working environment. CGI was founded in 1976 by entrepreneurs Serge Godin and André Imbeau.
