When Signs Express (Aberdeen) was approached by local company ROVOP to complete a wrap for a remotely operated underwater vehicle at the last minute, they were delighted to help.
ROVOP, established in 2011, are an independent operator of ROVs who specialise in all aspects of ROV operations, they are going from strength to strength having achieved a turnover of £10 million in the last 12 months. The company are working alongside FMC Technologies Schilling Robotics whose roots trace back to 1884. FMC Technologies Schilling Robotics manufacture work-class remotely operated vehicles and is a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy industry. ROVOP approached the Aberdeen sign makers midweek with the request that the graphics be designed (including redrawing of their logo), printed and fitted before 5pm the next day. The team were up for the challenge and completed the work on schedule, delivering the panels to the customer ready for a photo shoot the next day and then a trip to Germany for a trade show. The experienced and fully trained team ensured that the finish was to the highest possible standard and will be capable of enduring the tough environment that the ROV is destined for. Signs Express (Aberdeen) was opened by Jim Gifford in October 1996 and has grown to offer a wide range of signs and graphics to businesses in Aberdeenshire after investment in state-of-the-art machinery.
