The Bristol centre was tasked with supplying all the relevant technical specifications of the built-up lettering and fabrication to ensure they designed the building and architectural plans correctly and in correlation with the signage, as well as supplying documentation so the planning consent could be applied for correctly.
All aspects, including supplying the customer’s landlord with Risk Assessment Method Statements and necessary insurances for installation, were also taken care of.
The team at Signs Express (Bristol) created visuals and proofs of the signage so the customer knew exactly what would be supplied, and to ensure the fitting locations exactly matched the architectural plans and sign proof documents.
With the sign being fitted at a high level in late November, the wet and windy weather conditions made for a challenging installation. The cladding profile was also used so that the sign was manufactured in a way that it created the necessary look.
Martin Greenway, General Manager of Fairway Engineering, commented,
From the initial point of contact the overall professionalism of both Ben and the company was obvious, turning some very basic and seemingly demanding ideas into a series of suggestions, designs and solutions. Now that the installation is complete and we are finally in [the building], the signage looks fantastic. Clearly we chose the right team and would heartily recommend Signs Express to anyone looking for any signage solution. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your team.Martin GreenwayFairway Engineering
