The team behind The Drink Valley approached Signs Express Swindon to help them bring their brand to life with exterior signage that would make a statement. With a large retail frontage in a high-footfall location, they needed signage that felt bold, welcoming, and built to last.

As signage specialists, we know that when you’re working with a large, open fascia—especially one finished in wood—you need something that not only stands out but feels part of the environment.
We proposed a combination of large-scale flat cut lettering and an illuminated circular lightbox, designed to create contrast, draw attention, and express the client’s brand values clearly.

What We Installed

Flat Cut Letters: We installed bold black lettering across two key areas of the shopfront, featuring:

‘The Drink Valley’ – the hero element of the signage

‘Bar, Brewery, Buy’ – a smart brand slogan that captures the offer in three words
The black acrylic letters created a striking visual against the warm wooden cladding, offering a crisp, contemporary finish that fits perfectly with the craft drinks aesthetic.

Illuminated Lightbox Sign: Between the two fascia sections, we fitted a circular illuminated lightbox bearing The Drink Valley’s logo. This element was designed not only to unify the look but also to improve visibility during evenings and darker weather—a smart move for a business looking to catch the eye at all times of day.

The Result

The final signage gives The Drink Valley a strong street presence and a premium feel that mirrors the care and craft of the products they sell. It’s the kind of storefront that turns heads, invites curiosity, and gets people through the door.
