Signs Express (Oxford) helps re-brand Jack & Jill pre-school

When Jack & Jill Pre-School decided to relocate and rebrand ahead of the summer term, they got in touch with Signs Express (Oxford) for help. The move gave them the perfect opportunity to refresh their image, and they wanted something that felt bright, cheerful, and welcoming — the kind of place children and staff would love coming to every day.

Client needs

At the start, the team at Jack & Jill didn’t have a firm design in mind. They just knew the space needed to feel positive and full of energy. We met with Head Mistress Laura Collier and her team to talk through ideas, look at the site, and understand what would work best both visually and practically. After completing a full survey, we put together a set of signage options that balanced safety, functionality, and fun.

Our input

Outside, we installed vibrant new fascia signs that instantly lifted the look of the entrance and made the school easier to spot for parents and visitors. We also refreshed the car park and playground signage, keeping everything consistent with the new brand colours and cheerful theme.

Inside, the transformation continued. We created bespoke whiteboards and “Meet the Team” boards with photo inserts, adding a personal touch that parents and children could connect with. On the windows, we applied frosted films featuring playful shapes and designs. These gave the rooms privacy while still letting in plenty of light — a perfect blend of practicality and creativity.

Everything was installed in just one day during the Easter holidays, meaning the school could reopen after the break with no disruption and a completely fresh new look.

I contacted Signs express and they talked me through a few different price options and discussed my requirements. they pointed out that part of what I wanted would require the use of vinal wrap and explained why. they then sent me some ideas of what my van would look like. I requested to change a couple of bits and very quickly we had designed exactly what I was looking for. I proof checked it and got booked in for fitting. I dropped the van off in the morning and it was ready for collection in the afternoon, looking exactly how I wanted it. I highly recommend signs express, the whole process was excellent.
