Rebranding for Atlas Copco
When Atlas Copco, the international manufacturing company, decided to rebrand their Didcot site, they wanted the new look to reflect their global identity. The job needed to be done quickly and to a high standard. Timing was tight, and they had an internal deadline to meet for a planned company visit.

Project Overview
The project covered all business signage at the Didcot industrial offices. The goal was to update the existing branding with the new Atlas Copco identity, making sure everything looked consistent and professional. Our team at Signs Express (Oxford) were asked to handle the full rebrand — from site survey through to installation.
Solutions Provided
We began by visiting the site to assess access points and surface conditions. Once the measurements were confirmed, we produced new aluminium tray signs fitted with cut vinyl graphics in Atlas Copco’s trademark blue. These were built in-house for full quality control.
Each panel was fabricated to suit the building layout, ensuring the design stayed true to the brand guidelines. The new signage was designed to be both durable and clean, maintaining its appearance through all weather conditions.
Role Details
Our Oxford team managed every stage — survey, manufacture, and installation. We coordinated directly with Atlas Copco’s facilities manager to make sure the work fitted around daily operations. On-site, our fitters handled the installation using safe access equipment, working carefully to avoid disrupting staff or deliveries.
Challenges Faced
The job took place in the middle of a tough winter. Cold weather, heavy rain, and short daylight hours made things tricky. We planned around the forecast, fitting panels in dry spells and keeping the schedule moving. Despite the conditions, everything was installed safely and finished on time.
The Outcome
The transformation was immediate. The new signage gave the Didcot site a smart, professional look that matched Atlas Copco’s global image. Seeing the building refreshed with the bright new branding made a real difference — clean lines, perfect alignment, and a finish that stands out day or night.
