Valley CIDS

The charity initially contacted the sign makers in 2012 at which point exterior signs were provided for their shops in New Mills and Chellaston. Very happy with the signage provided, Valley CIDS then asked the Derby team to assist with their rebrand which began in late 2013. To date, Signs Express (Derby) has provided shop signage for nine locations, as well as window graphics for the charity's shop in Stapleford. The project is still ongoing and the Derby team look forward to helping with the rest of the rebrand. Kevin Blackwell, Head of Retail at Valley CIDS commented: 'Signs Express (Derby) have been fantastic in using their creative flair in designing new signage for our Lighthouse stores. It has given a modern image to our stores and we have had very positive comments from our customers, staff and volunteers.' Launched in 2000, Valley CIDS is an independent Christian charity based in Derbyshire, which serves children, young people and families through out-reach work in schools and the wider community. The charity has 27 'Lighthouse' charity shops, including a store called 'Purple Robes' in Alfreton which provides pre-loved designer items and bridal wear. Signs Express (Derby), opened in 1994, provides a comprehensive range of signs and graphics solutions to areas of Derby such as Ashbourne, Belper and Ilkeston.
