When Nick Baxter-Sibley, Director of Signs Express (Exeter) heard that ECDSA were looking for funding to finance the protective boards for the remaining disabled viewing bays he was delighted to step in with an offer of support to cover the cost of the manufacture and installation of the boards so that users of all the bays could benefit from the added protection from wind & rain. The project is part of ECDSA's ongoing efforts to improve the matchday experience for both home and away fans who benefit from the availability of the Disabled Bays. The boards were supplied and installed in December, ahead of the worst of the winter weather, and provide an eye-catching as well as practical solution to the problem. Additional boards have also been supplied and installed with funding from Exeter City F.C's Supporter's Trust, emphasising the ongoing support from the Trust for the fan-owned club and fellow supporters. Nick Saunders, who chairs the ECDSA committee, thanked Signs Express and the ECFC Supporters Trust for the support of the ECDSA's activities.
