Harlow based signs and graphics company, Signs Express (Harlow), has recently been recognised as a finalist for Best Vehicle Graphics Project at the national sign company’s annual awards evening.
The finalist recognition was awarded to the expert sign makers for their in-house designed and expert application of a vehicle wrap on behalf of Excel Trailers Ltd, who supply and convert catering trailers such as the one provided for Tata’s Taco Truck. The bright and engaging graphics were a perfect way for the Mexican inspired cuisine business to advertise their food offering.
Paul Heywood, owner of the leading sign company said, “We had a lot of fun working on this project and I am delighted for the team to be recognised for the hard work they put in. The client provided us with a brief to create a truck livery which reflected the vibrancy of Mexico and South American cuisine and stand out from other street food trucks. The bold use of colour and engaging fonts, along with a cartoon style character, ensured the graphics hit the mark.”
The experienced sign making team printed the graphics in-house on their large format Mimaki JV33 digital printer and applied the graphics across the whole of the vehicle for a seamless finish within a three-day turnaround so that the truck was off the road for as little time as necessary.
The award win follows similar recognition in both 2016 and 2015 and the sign centre is well-known for its high profile and renowned work. Signs Express is the UK’s leading sign company with over 65 centres across the UK and the award was voted by the nationwide network.
Signs Express (Harlow) has experienced sign makers, vehicle wrappers and designers in-house at their custom production centre and provide a wide variety of signs and graphics for businesses from van wraps to shop signs and everything in between.
