The Lux Clinic
Signs Express Leeds recently had the pleasure of collaborating with The Lux Clinic – a brand new aesthetics clinic opened in the vibrant heart of Leeds City Centre, using advanced and award-winning technologies to offer a wide range of facial and body treatments to its customers.
Yasmin, owner of the Lux Clinic, noticed our offices while passing and thought of us when it came to needing signage for her own business – and we were more than happy to help!
The brief
Yasmin needed a fascia sign to catch the eye of passers-by and brand the clinic’s exterior shop front. With the look and feel of the sign in mind, Yasmin explained what she wanted to our team. To summarise, the sign needed to have a luxury feel, to be very clear but also elegant and enhanced by some illuminated features.
The solution
Dave from Signs Express Leeds immediately understood the look and feel our customer was after and made several suggestions to make the lettering on the fascia board stand out. He guided Yasmin through the different options for illumination, and highlighted the pros and cons associated with each to ensure our customer had a clear understanding of our products and the end-result she could expect.
Because our client wanted to have an illuminated sign with the letters standing off the face panel, we opted for a trough light above the sign to shine back onto the branding. We added a white stainless-steel letter on standoff studs to ‘float’ in front of the sign, and finished each letter with a brushed gold border to tie in with The Lux Clinic’s brand colours.
Another finishing touch we made was to put a brushed gold vinyl around the returns of the back panel which has created an appealing and eye-catching effect. We finished the project off inside with some lovely desk graphics and privacy frosting in the treatment rooms, which has allowed space for advertising products and services that Yasmin and her team offer.
The result
Having examined various options of illumination, Yasmin decided to choose a different type of illumination than she originally imagined. The final choice fits the fascia sign to a T and the stunning result is proof of that!
We understand that signage is an important part of bricks and mortar branding – but it’s also key to consider the wider context in which it’s displayed. For this reason, our team also recommended some finer touches to enhance the overall look of our customers’ shop front. Yasmin implemented them all and is ecstatic with the outcome.
