The Brief
Floral Image Leeds needed a fleet that would reflect the company’s evolving identity on the road. The goal was to create designs that were bold, professional, and consistent with franchise guidelines. Each wrap had to deliver strong visual impact, be durable enough to handle everyday use, and be installed quickly to minimise disruption to the business.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the main technical challenges was managing the precise application of the geometric brand designs across different vehicle types. The bold shapes and overlapping lines meant that even a slight misalignment at a join could affect the overall look. To solve this, our team carefully mapped out the layout of each vehicle, planning join lines in advance to ensure the graphics flowed naturally. This approach also helped reduce material wastage.
Time was another key factor. With each vehicle vital to operations, speed was essential. We refined our process to deliver a high-quality wrap with minimal downtime. By focusing on efficient preparation, accurate templating and expert installation, we ensured vehicles were off the road for the shortest time possible without compromising on finish.
Materials and Technologies Used
We used a combination of Arlon SLX Premium Cast Wrapping Film and Metamark MD5 Polymeric Vinyl. These materials offered the flexibility needed to wrap complex surfaces and maintain pattern accuracy, while also delivering high performance in outdoor environments. The combination provided a vibrant finish and colour longevity that helped preserve the brand’s visual impact over time.
