For Residential Maintenance Services (RMS), a property maintenance company based in Warrington, vehicle branding proved to be the answer. The owner came to Signs Express looking for a way to promote his new venture on the move — something professional, bold, and built to last.

The Brief
The client approached us with a completely blank van and an open brief. He wanted something that would stand out, help establish the brand locally, and deliver value for money. After talking through several design ideas, we agreed that a half wrap would provide the right balance of visual impact and cost-effectiveness.
Challenges and Solutions
The biggest challenge was finding the right balance between design and practicality. The client wanted something that would turn heads without being over the top. We spent time testing colour contrasts and placement to make sure the brand stood out clearly in daylight and at night under streetlights.
Our design team created a bold half wrap that used RMS’s corporate colours to full effect. The design added contrast between the upper and lower panels of the van, drawing the eye to the company name and contact details.
The wrap was produced using 3M IJ380 vinyl wrapping film — one of the most advanced materials on the market — finished with a matched clear laminate for durability. We combined this with digitally printed flat vinyl graphics, printed to perfectly match RMS’s brand colours.
As a 3M-approved wrapping centre, we handled every stage in-house — from design mock-ups and colour proofs to printing and installation. Our technicians carefully applied the wrap to follow the contours of the van, ensuring a seamless finish that looked factory-fitted.
The outcome
The final van design is clean, professional, and eye-catching — exactly what a new business needs. The half wrap gives RMS a strong presence on the road, working as a moving advert that promotes the company 24/7 without ongoing costs.
The client was delighted with the end result, and we’re confident this van will help build local awareness for years to come.
