There were several elements required within the brief that included replicating the well known Kelly Group logo and built-up letters in an illuminated sign spanning 9.5 metres to be installed near the roofline of the building. Careful attention was paid to providing the solution with the technical challenges of ensuring the face-lit LED sign projects brightly in the exact shade of blue required by brand guidelines. Also illuminated, a new entrance sign consisting of built-up lettering reading Kelly House, this time halo-lit, was supplied and installed; frosted logos applied to entrance doors to re-enforce the branding.
As the site provides the base for several Kelly Group companies, directory signs were needed inside and out. For the reception, an edge and face-lit freestanding option standing at 2.1 metres high consisting of seven acrylic panels to accommodate all companies. Outside, to make one Goods In directory visible from several directions, a bespoke powder-coated projecting sign was designed. Standing at 2 metres tall, fitted with 7 face-mounted inserts to provide details for all companies, the sign was fitted securely at a precise angle to the building wall - a task made more difficult by the positioning of an existing lamp post and entry bollard.
