RollerCity entrance gets a make-over

CW Entertainment wanted the entrance to RollerCity and SoftPlayCity to feel lively and on-brand, not just another painted corridor. They asked us to create something that would catch people’s attention the moment they walked in and still stand up to daily use from hundreds of visitors.

Project overview

We were brought in to print and fit around 43 square metres of digital wallcovering. The brief was simple — bright, fun, and true to Campus West’s look. The area gets a lot of traffic, so it had to be durable and easy to clean.

Our team printed the graphics in-house using a tough, matte-finish material that can be wiped down without losing colour. Everything was colour-matched to their branding, so it blended perfectly with the rest of the venue.

We fitted the wall panels after hours so the public areas could stay open during the day. Each sheet was aligned carefully to keep the artwork flowing with no visible joins.

Challenges and solutions

The main challenge was the shape of the space — uneven walls and tight corners. We adjusted the print layout and trimmed each section on site for a neat, seamless look. Once the final panel went up, the change was instant. The entrance now feels brighter and more welcoming, with graphics that really set the tone for the fun inside.

I requested to change a couple of bits and very quickly we had designed exactly what I was looking for. I proof checked it and got booked in for fitting. I dropped the van off in the morning and it was ready for collection in the afternoon, looking exactly how I wanted it. I highly recommend signs express, the whole process was excellent.
