Festive Window Graphics
This one was a lovely little project to finish the year on. Fat Giraffe Gifts got in touch wanting to do something festive for Christmas — nothing over the top, just a nice touch that would tie in with their branding.

Client needs
They’ve got three big shop windows, so there was plenty of space to play with. The idea was to have hanging ornaments running along the top of each one, almost like they were part of the shop décor rather than stickers.
We popped over, had a chat, took some measurements, and came up with a few sketches. The shop already has gold lettering on the fascia, so we matched that colour and went for a metallic gold vinyl — simple, clean, and classy.
Challenges and solutions
We cut a few different ornament designs — stars, baubles, snowflakes — each one with a bit of detail to make them stand out. Once everything was ready, we went on-site and applied them directly to the glass.
It sounds easy, but lining them all up evenly across three large windows takes a steady hand. Every piece had to hang at the right height, so it looked natural from the street.
Once they were up, the effect was brilliant. You could see the gold catching the daylight, and when the shop lights came on at night, they really popped. It made the whole frontage look warm and inviting without feeling crowded.
The Final Result
Christmas windows are one of those things — they don’t have to be complicated to work. Sometimes, less really is more. Just a few well-placed vinyl’s can completely change how a shop looks and how people feel when they walk past.
And because vinyl graphics are easy to remove, the team can switch them out after the holidays and reuse the space for spring or sale promotions. Quick, flexible, and no mess left behind.
The Fat Giraffe team were thrilled with how it turned out. You could see people stopping outside to look, which is exactly what you want in the run-up to Christmas. It’s a small job, but it’s a great example of how thoughtful design and attention to detail can make a big difference to how a brand presents itself.
