The contest took place in churches around York and visitors to the city were treated to the fantastic sounds created by over 128 competitors, all under 18 years old, representing teams from all over the country. David Hull, organiser of the event said: 'It has been fantastic, we have seen nothing but smiling faces all day, we can't thank Signs Express York enough for their contribution to the event, the banner they produced for us was eye catching and let everyone know about our great event.' The competition was won by Bedfordshire, while the Yorkshire Puds which included ringers from York came joint third.
