Cameo Kitchens
When Cameo Kitchens, based in Nazeing, decided their large showroom needed a refresh, they called on the team at Signs Express (Harlow).
We’d worked with Cameo before, so we already understood their brand: stylish, professional, and all about great design. This time, they wanted signage that matched the modern feel of their showroom — something clean, sharp and built to last.
The Brief
From the start, the Cameo team were clear that they didn’t just want a new sign; they wanted the whole site to feel fresh and consistent.
After an on-site meeting and a few design conversations, we explored several ideas. The final choice was a modern, clear polycarbonate panel system featuring full-colour vinyl graphics in Cameo’s own house colours.
It was the perfect match for their sleek aluminium-clad building — modern without being flashy, bold but still refined.
Our approach
Once the design was approved, our production team got to work. Every panel was printed in-house to keep colour consistency spot on. The clear polycarbonate gives the signage a crisp, floating effect, while the vinyl graphics add depth and texture.
The main fascia wasn’t the only upgrade. We also installed:
- New car park and directional signage to make the site easier to navigate.
- Updated ‘Goods Inwards’ signs to match the refreshed style.
- Branded pavement signs, ideal for attracting passing trade.
All of it tied together visually, giving Cameo’s showroom a complete front-of-house transformation.
The fit-out was done on-site by our Harlow installation team. Because the building is clad in aluminium, we used discreet, weather-resistant fixings that wouldn’t spoil the finish. Everything was measured, levelled and fitted with precision — the kind of small detail that makes a big difference when you step back to look at the whole building.
The job ran smoothly, with minimal disruption to Cameo’s day-to-day business, and by the end of the day the new signage was up, gleaming, and already drawing attention.
The Result
The new look has completely lifted the showroom’s exterior. The colours pop, the signage catches the light beautifully, and the building now mirrors the quality and attention to detail that Cameo Kitchens is known for.
For our Harlow team, it was another rewarding job with a great local business — one that shows how even a few well-designed signs can transform a building’s appearance and customer experience.
