Client Overview
TEC Partnership’s new East Riding campus opened its doors to students this year. As one of England’s leading education providers, they’ve been helping shape futures for years, but this new site marked a fresh step forward. Newly renovated and ready to welcome the next wave of learners, the building had everything except its identity on the outside.
That’s where we came in and where your signage transformation could start, too. Get in touch to bring your space to life.
What They Needed
The brief was clear: give the new campus a striking visual identity using their updated branding, one that would reflect their ambition and energise the space from the moment students arrived. The signage needed to be more than directional. It had to belong there.
First Hurdles
Every project comes with its curveballs. In this case, it was the first rollout of TEC’s new branding. That meant we were laying the groundwork (quite literally) for how this identity would be seen and recognised in the real world. We had to get it right. With the countdown to student intake ticking, timings were tight.
The Solution
Working closely with the TEC team, we mapped out the site, reviewed architectural features, and sketched early concepts that made the most of the building’s natural structure.
Once everyone was happy with the designs, we moved to production. Our final solution included:
- Two main entrance signs, using 3D built-up lettering to add depth and presence.
- Branded panels positioned above the newly fitted windows, a subtle but effective way to turn blank space into bold statements.
- All mounted on durable aluminium composite trays, complete with full-colour self-adhesive graphics designed to last.
Bringing It All Together
Because we’d been involved early in the site’s redevelopment, our team was able to slot in smoothly as the build progressed. Everything from installation scheduling to visual alignment with the new façade was carefully coordinated to avoid disruption and deliver before the September student intake.
Here’s how it played out:
1. Initial site visit and consultation with the client
2. Artwork development and approvals
3. Sign manufacture using CNC technology
4. Full on-site installation ahead of the go-live date
The Result
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A campus that looks as fresh and inspiring on the outside as it is within. The signage has helped establish the location as a true part of the TEC Partnership’s network, visible, professional, and welcoming. It’s already become a talking point among visitors and staff alike.
